The Project Status details can be seen below this. The Project Status is specifically around the controlled values of the project that determines it's progress, status and calculations on schedule.

Tasks are where all the breakdown and planning effort is applied to the Project. Each Task is a piece of work which has been listed by the Project Manager as an identifiable effort which needs to be allocated to a Resource, scheduled with a start date and a status maintained on an ongoing basis. It also needs to be given an allocation of days so that the allocated Resource knows what time they have available to complete this Task.

You can now view the project tasks and their associated milestones in the 'Milestone Check' tab.

Within the Project Listing, all Projects can be seen on one page, the Project Name, Project Manager (a CRM User), the Customer (if there is one for the Project), Status, Billed Days, Start Date and Estimated End Date. By clicking though to a Project, the detail for the Project can be seen.

Timesheets contain the concept of billable and unbillable Days. This allows Resources to log Timesheets as a mixture of billable time which is potentially cross charged to a client, and unbillable time, which may be internal activities, or time which has to be absorbed internally rather than charging on.

A global analysis of all Projects In Progress. This allows for further filters of Billable, Unbillable and by Project.

As part of the details of a Project, a dedicated Analysis tab is provided to give cross section analysis of the Timesheet data against the Project. This allows for a very thorough analysis of trends and patterns which can help to make proactive decisions on the running of the project. This also allows for typical metrics required for summary reporting.

As well as viewing Projects on a per Project basis, it is also useful to see Projects, Tasks and Timesheets according to the logged in User. From My CRM, a Projects Tab is available.

A set of sub Tabs are available which breakdown each of the Timesheets (logged against the User), Tasks (original allocated User) and Projects (User is Project Manager for Project) which pertain to the current User.

As per standard features, the User can change the currently viewed User in the top frame to see other Users’ Projects, Tasks and Timesheets.

Standard Reporting features of CRM are completely available for all aspects of Project Manager, including all details around Projects, Tasks and Timesheets. An example Report is supplied, showing set up of a report for Monthly report filtered by Billables and Customer.
